1. Purpose and relationship to other policies.

This Refund Policy describes how returns, refunds, and exchanges are handled for purchases made through this website. It should be read with the Shipping Policy, which describes processing and delivery, with the Terms of Purchase, which describes the formation of the contract, and with the Privacy Policy, which describes how information provided in connection with a return is handled. Where this policy refers to “delivery,” it means the date on which the carrier’s tracking record shows the parcel was delivered to the address you provided, or the date on which the parcel was delivered to a collection point designated by the carrier.

The rights described here are contractual rights offered by us. They are in addition to, and do not replace, any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law. If a statutory right provides a longer period or a more favorable condition than this policy, the statutory right controls to the extent of the conflict. A sixty-day window is longer than the thirty-day standard common in U.S. ecommerce; the extension is intentional and is described in Section 2.

2. The 60-day return window.

You may request a return within sixty calendar days after delivery. The sixty-day period begins on the delivery date shown in the carrier’s tracking record. If the tracking record does not show a delivery date, the period begins on the date the carrier marks the parcel as delivered or, where no delivery confirmation is available, on a date reasonably determined from the shipment record.

A return request made after the sixty-day period may be declined unless applicable law requires otherwise or unless we choose, in a specific instance, to accept it as a courtesy. A courtesy acceptance in one instance does not modify the sixty-day window for future orders and does not create a binding practice.

The sixty-day window is measured from delivery, not from the order date. This distinction matters because processing and transit occur before delivery; a customer who orders early and receives later is not disadvantaged by the time spent in transit. The window is also designed to cover the period during which a gift purchased in the holiday season is likely to be opened and used. A sixty-day window from delivery means a bar purchased as a gift can be tried by the recipient and still fall within the return period if the scent or the formula is not right.

3. Condition requirements for return eligibility.

Because the products sold on this website are personal care and cleansing products intended for contact with the body, the condition standard reflects both hygiene and resale requirements. To be eligible for a return, the item must meet the following requirements:

(a) Seal and packaging integrity. The product must be returned with its original seal or outer wrap intact and unbroken, where the product was sold with a seal or wrap. A personal care product whose seal has been broken, or whose outer wrap has been removed, cannot be returned for a change of mind because it cannot be verified as unused and safe for another customer. A product with a broken seal or removed wrap may still be eligible for a damaged-or-defective claim if the reason for the claim is a defect present at delivery or damage that occurred in transit.

(b) No use beyond reasonable inspection. The item must not show signs of use beyond reasonable inspection. For a solid bar, reasonable inspection includes handling the bar in its packaging and assessing the scent through the packaging where the packaging permits. For a liquid product, reasonable inspection includes checking the seal, the label, and the bottle condition without opening the product. A bar that has been lathered, a bottle that has been opened and dispensed, or a deodorant that has been applied cannot be returned for a change of mind.

(c) Original packaging and components. The item should be returned with its original packaging and any included accessories, where practicable. If the original packaging was damaged on opening, the item remains eligible if the seal integrity can be verified and the product itself is in eligible condition. Missing outer packaging alone is not a condition failure if the seal or wrap can be verified as intact.

(d) No alteration, contamination, or improper storage. The item must not have been altered, mixed with another substance, stored outside the conditions stated on the label, or exposed to contamination after delivery. A product that has been exposed to abnormal heat, moisture, or a foreign substance after delivery is not eligible for a change-of-mind return.

(e) Quantity and bundles. For multi-item bundles, the return may be accepted if the unopened items are returned with seals or wraps intact. An opened item within a bundle may disqualify that item from a change-of-mind return but does not necessarily disqualify the unopened items in the same bundle, subject to inspection.

If an item does not meet the condition requirements, we will contact you with the reason and may offer a partial refund or a return of the item at your cost, depending on the circumstances. We will not treat a minor cosmetic imperfection on the outer packaging as a condition failure where the seal or wrap is intact and the product itself is eligible. The purpose of these requirements is to ensure that a returned personal care product has not been used or compromised, not to create technical barriers for a customer with a genuine issue.

4. Items that are not eligible for return.

The following categories are not eligible for a standard change-of-mind return unless they arrived damaged, defective, or materially different from what was described:

(a) Products with a broken seal, removed outer wrap, or evidence of use, for the hygiene and resale reasons described in Section 3.

(b) Products marked as final sale at the time of purchase, where the final-sale designation was disclosed before checkout. A final-sale designation does not remove rights that applicable consumer law grants for defective goods or goods that do not conform to the description.

(c) Products that have been personalized, engraved, or customized at your request.

(d) Gift cards or store credit instruments, where applicable.

(e) Products that present a hygiene concern due to having been opened, applied, or dispensed, as determined through inspection, beyond the reasonable inspection standard described above.

An item that is not eligible for a standard return may still be eligible for a damaged-or-defective claim if the reason for the claim is a defect present at delivery, transit damage, or a material difference from the product description. A change of mind about the scent of a bar, the feel of a formula, or the intensity of a fragrance is handled under the standard return conditions, not as a defect. Scent preference is personal, and a scent that is not to your taste is not a manufacturing defect.

5. How to initiate a return.

To initiate a return, contact us through the Contact page on this website before sending anything back. Include the order information and a brief description of the reason for the return. State whether the seal or outer wrap is intact, whether the item has been opened, and whether the request is a change of mind, a defect or damage claim, or an order error. We will respond with return instructions, including the return destination and any labeling or packaging requirements.

Do not send a return to the address on the original shipping label unless the return instructions expressly direct you to do so. The shipping origin and the return destination may differ. Items sent back without a return authorization may experience delays in processing or may be declined if they cannot be matched to an authorized return. For safety reasons, a return that contains a product with a compromised package or a leaking container should be packaged so that the contents cannot escape; contact us first if the condition raises a handling concern.

6. Return shipping costs.

Return shipping is at your cost unless the return is due to a defect, transit damage, or an error on our part, such as shipping the wrong item or the wrong scent. Where the return is due to a defect, damage, or our error, we will provide the return instructions and cover the reasonable return shipping cost. Where the return is a change of mind, you are responsible for the return shipping cost, and the original free shipping provided on the order is not refundable as a separate amount because it was not charged to you.

This allocation of return shipping cost does not affect any statutory right that requires a seller to bear return costs in specified circumstances. If applicable law requires us to bear the cost in a situation not described here, that law controls. For international returns, any duties or taxes that were covered by us on the original shipment are not recoverable by you and are not added to the refund; the refund is based on the merchandise amount and the return shipping cost allocation described here.

7. Refund processing time and method.

After an authorized return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval decision. If the return is approved, the refund is processed to the original payment method within five to ten business days after the approval decision. “Business days” means Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays observed in the United States.

The five-to-ten-business-day period is the period during which we initiate and complete the refund on our side. Your bank, card issuer, or payment provider may require additional time to post the refund to your account after it is initiated. That additional posting time is outside our control and is not counted in the five-to-ten-business-day period. A refund is considered completed on our side when the credit is transmitted to the payment processor, not when it appears on your statement.

Refunds are issued in USD to the original payment method. We do not issue refunds to a different card, a different account, or a different currency unless the original payment method is unavailable and applicable law or the payment processor’s rules permit an alternative. If the original payment method is no longer valid, contact us through the Contact page to arrange an alternative that complies with the processor’s requirements. Shipping charges are not refunded on a change-of-mind return because shipping was provided free of charge. On a defective, damaged, or error-related return, the refund covers the merchandise amount and, where applicable, the reasonable return shipping cost we agreed to cover.

8. Exchanges.

An exchange is handled as a return of the original item followed by a new order for the replacement item, unless a direct exchange is expressly offered at the time of the request. This structure ensures that the return and the new purchase are each documented separately. If a direct exchange is offered, the replacement item is shipped after the original item is received and inspected, and the same seal-integrity and condition requirements apply. Price differences between the original item and the replacement item are handled as an additional charge or a partial refund, as applicable.

For a personal care product, an exchange based on scent or formula preference is treated as a new order subject to the price and availability in effect at the time of the exchange request. The original order’s discount does not automatically carry over to the replacement order unless a direct exchange is expressly offered with that term.

9. Damaged or defective items.

An item that arrives damaged or defective is not subject to the change-of-mind seal and use limitations to the same extent, because the defect or damage may not be discoverable until the item is inspected or, in some cases, used for a short period. Report the issue through the Contact page as soon as practicable after delivery, with photographs of the product, the label, the packaging, and any visible compromise. We will evaluate the report and, where the damage or defect is attributable to transit, fulfillment, or manufacturing, arrange a replacement or a full refund of the merchandise amount, including the return shipping cost where we request the item back.

A defect that appears after reasonable use may still be eligible if it is a material failure of the product’s described performance rather than normal variation. For personal care products, “defect” does not mean “the scent was not what I expected” or “the bar lasted fewer showers than I hoped.” Those are preference and usage questions, handled under the standard return conditions. A defect claim must be based on a compromised seal present at delivery, contamination, a labeling error, a foreign object, a failure of the product to match its disclosed ingredients or formulation, or a packaging failure that creates a handling hazard.

A packaging failure that could pose a mechanical hazard — for example, a bottle that cracks or breaks during normal opening, or a closure that detaches unexpectedly — is treated as a safety matter. Where applicable law requires reporting to a consumer product safety authority within a specified period after we become aware of a reportable hazard, we will make that report; the existence of a safety report does not replace the replacement or refund process described here, and a customer is not required to wait for a regulatory outcome before receiving a remedy for a damaged or defective product.

10. Late or missing refunds.

If a refund has been approved and the five-to-ten-business-day period has passed without the credit appearing, first check with your bank or card issuer, because posting delays are common. If the credit still does not appear, contact us through the Contact page with the order information and the approval notice. We will confirm the transmission record on our side and, where necessary, provide documentation that you can share with your payment provider. Do not open a payment dispute before contacting us, because a dispute can suspend the refund process while the processor investigates; contacting us first usually resolves the issue faster.

11. Refused deliveries and returns to sender.

A parcel refused at delivery without a valid damage, defect, or shipping-error reason is treated as a change-of-mind return after it is returned to us. The refund is processed under the standard change-of-mind terms, and the reshipping cost, if you request reshipment, is your responsibility. A parcel refused because of visible damage should be documented at the point of refusal if the carrier permits; this documentation supports a damage claim and avoids the change-of-mind treatment. A parcel returned to sender because a destination restricts the import of a personal care product is handled under the Shipping Policy’s destination-restriction provision and this policy’s undeliverable-order provision, not as a change-of-mind return.

12. Contact for return and refund questions.

All return requests, seal-integrity and condition questions, damaged-item reports, and refund status inquiries are handled through the Contact page on this website. Include the order information and a clear description so that the request can be routed correctly. This policy is intended to be applied reasonably; a technical failure to follow a formatting requirement will not defeat a valid claim where the substance of the request is clear. If a customer has a sensitivity or reaction concern, the return process is not a substitute for medical advice; discontinue use and seek appropriate care, and report the reaction so that the batch information can be documented.
